Note: The following directory of online government/nonprofit and commercial websites is provided merely as a reference to Imaginis.com users. Imaginis does not endorse and takes no responsibility whatsoever for the information found on the following websites.

Cancer Guide (http://www.cancerguide.org/) provides detailed information for cancer patients interested in learning more about the disease. The site is maintained (and was created) by Steve Dunn, an advanced kidney disease survivor. Though Steve is not a physician or health professional, the site provides valuable, well-researched information on a variety of topics, including: confronting a difficult prognosis, considering experimental treatment, how to find information in medical journals, and more. The "Pros and Cons of Researching Your Cancer," is a must-read for any cancer patient.

NoCancer.net (http://www.nocancer.net) was recommended to Imaginis.com by Brent Rooney, the author of the site. NoCancer.net offers users several suggestions on how to help lower the risk of breast cancer, including a number of alternative therapies. One of the key features of the site is the extensive list of health resources on nutrition and breast cancer prevention.

Pillows for Life (http://www.pillowsforlife.com/) was created by Betty Smith, a breast cancer survivor, and provides over 300 links to websites with information on all aspects of breast cancer. In addition to a breast cancer forum, the website provides a "Dear Betty" section where Betty answers questions from users based on her personal experiences with breast cancer. Comfort pillows may also be ordered through the website (a portion of the proceeds helps support the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation).

Suite 101 Breast Cancer (http://cancer.suite101.com/) features articles on all aspects of breast cancer, written by breast cancer survivor and site creator, Linda Bily. Topics include breast self-exam, breast biopsy methods, risk factors for breast cancer, common misconceptions about breast cancer, and more. Other features of the website include a comprehensive list of links (complete with a rating system) to online breast cancer resources and a breast cancer discussion board.
